The International Budo Do Federation

The International Budo Do Federation was founded in 1959 in Vancouver/Canada under the name "International Budo Do Council" by Prof. Dr. Klaus Romminger+ founded. Klaus Romminger was Canada's national judo coach and took part with his team at the 1960 Olympic Games in Rome. In Germany, also in 1959 (without association membership) Budo Do practiced by Heinz Günter. Initially housed in the German Budo Association, then in the German Budo Do Bund e.V.. The current name International Budo Do Federation Deutschland e.V. was then taken over from the DBDB. 60 years International Budo Do Federation World, 40 years International Budo Do Federation Germany. The International Budo Do Federation was founded by Klaus Romminger and the then 1st Chairman Heinz Wegener+ Registered and protected by law at the Office for Harmonization in the European Internal Market in Alicante/Spain.

Previous 1st/2nd Chairman: Heinz Wegener+, Rolf Jung from 06/14/1989 to 08/15/1995
1st Chairman Karl Wagner, 2nd Chairman Ingo Mohr+ from 15.08.95/departure through death
07/14/1999 new 2nd chairman Ingo Brosch, left 03/11/2001.
Frank Steinbüchel + was elected as the new 2nd chairman on March 15th, 2002.
Frank Steinbüchel passed away in October 2018 and Frank Weinert was elected as the new 2nd chairman by the extraordinary general meeting on December 29, 2018.

Die International Budo Do Federation

Die International Budo Do Federation wurde 1959 in Vancouver/Kanada unter dem Namen „ International Budo Do Council“ von Prof. Dr. Klaus Romminger+ gegründet. Klaus Romminger war Judonationaltrainer von Kanada und hat mit seiner Mannschaft an den Olympischen Spielen 1960 in Rom teilgenommen. In Deutschland wurde ebenfalls 1959 (ohne Verbandszugehörigkeit) Budo Do durch Heinz Günter praktiziert. Anfangs noch beim im Deutschen Budo Verband unter- gebracht, danach im Deutschen Budo Do Bund e.V.. Von dem DBDB wurde dann der heutige Name International Budo Do Federation Deutschland e.V. übernommen. 60 Jahre International Budo Do Federation-Welt, 40 Jahre International Budo Do Federation-Deutschland. Die International Budo Do Federation wurde durch Klaus Romminger und den damaligen 1. Vorsitzenden Heinz Wegener+ beim Harmonisierungsamt für den europäischen Binnenmarkt in Alicante/Spanien angemeldet und gesetzlich geschützt.

14.07.1999 neuer 2. Vorsitzender Ingo Brosch, ausgeschieden 11.03.2001.
Frank Steinbüchel + wurde am 15.03.02 als neuer 2. Vorsitzender gewählt.
Im Oktober 2018 verstarb Frank Steinbüchel und Frank Weinert wurde als neuer 2. Vorsitzender von der außerordentlichen Mitgliederversammlung am 29.12.18 gewählt.
